Curtis Sparks Racing
Business Information:
Company: Curtis Sparks Racing
Address:
Ca.
Phone: (805 872-4343
Fax: (805) 872-1082

There's his tel # in Bakersfield. He rarely does any advertising. His is a one man shop, basically, & much of his time is devoted to building race engines for the GNC riders. If you're lucky enough to catch him in town, you'll be pleased with whatever he builds for you.

Good luck catching him at the shop. I have never called there and the answering service didn't answer.

I contacted someone at Curtis Sparks last week: I was inquiring about their pipe for the 400EX. The gal on the phone said that it's a complete system (headpipe and silencer together) and costs about $400. They are not chroming them anymore but are instead using the ceramic coating (better if you asked me). The only downside is that it takes quite a while to get one. I think she said it is normally a minimum 4 weeks.

I got mine it was chromed for $350. I read that someone else got one awhile back and his was nickel plated, and he said it didnt blue. I have to say I like the way mine looks even with the discloration.

Like the other guy said though it takes awhile to get one at least 4 wks. on average. Mine was closer to 6 weeks. I would have to say Curtis and everybody else I talked to at the shop were very nice and easy to talk to. Also, remember when you are talking to Curtis that you are talking to a living legend, many say he is the best ATC racer ever.
