rember to pack a rope and a 5 gallon bucket pumkin. Don't want you littering the dunes with banshee parts. One bomb is going for sure.

I have never heard of these dunes. Can you give me a quick run down of the 'rules' .
Is there a sound level maximum?
How many acres are they?
thanks

Basically, there are no rules . Kermit Dunes is one of the best kept secrets in Texas. There is no running water or electricity, but the town of Kermit is only 10 miles away. I've been there 3 times (twice with the gang, RaptorRRC, Banshee Boy) last year and had a blast each time. Big hills with perimeter trails that surrounds the area. I would say it's about 100 square miles of dunes out there. Unfortunately I probably will miss this trip again BansheeBoy. Still lots of work to be done after the collapse of the Big E. I'll let you know otherwise.

Follow my link in my signature. There are plenty of pictures of the dunes.

ok here is the deal. there r no sound rules, there are about 110 square miles of riding, so there for they r much bigger than little sahara. not very populated with locals or out of towners eather one. u can drag all u want right next to the road and everyone can watch. a few buggies but not many.

k thanks for the info. looks like close to 600 mile drive. Will there be alot of dragracing , lots of fast bikes , or justs lots of dune rideing.
i gots one fast honda that likes to drag race and a raptor that likes to climb dunes and jump.
looks like a 10 hour drive for me , not too sure about that.

I live in north Dallas and it is 400 miles from my house. By the time I fight the traffic across Dallas and Ft. Worth, I have to hurry to make it in 6 1/2 hours or so.

Hey Rex when did you get the toomeys? How are you fairing now against the Raptors? Are you getting some of that 2-stroke pride back?
