Oh man! I dunno!! I'd like to have one, but for what I do now, my Lakota does well. I slap the racks on it for hunting/fishing and such, just so I can haul my and my buddies crap around since he has a 400ex and can't carry a can of beer. One of these days though......

 

I've been trying to get there forever, But that weekend is playoff weekened and the Steelers are in. How tall are the dunes compared to little sahara and how is the weather this time of year?

 

about how far are these dunes from dallas. time general direction distance. I live 4 hrs from dallas just right up I35 in wichita. I bet its warmer than wanoka this time of year.

 

6 hours from ft worth driving the speed limit. It takes me 4 3/4 hours, if i don't have to stop and pee 4 1/2.

well one week left till we get to go riding for a full day at the dunes. any of u other people out there want to go, that can go? vilnrk???? jbomb???? cc1999???? any one else???? come on!!!!!

 

I want to go but instead I will have to suffer and rent a 4wheeler this weekend and take a look at the Island. I understand there are two places to rent ATV's and one of the places is on a ranch. i will let you know about the conditions. I do know that the views are great any any direction you look. Pics will be sent out as soon as Ihave time to sit down and upload them. BTW the weather is the best, no shirt, no shoes, beaches, golf, great food. If they had dunes ridding it would be perfect but I will suffer through it I guess. LOL
