Beginner,
I don't know how many miles you are going to get but would think you would be tired of riding before you run out of gas.
Wild guess would be way over 100 miles.

Well if you had it pinned in 1st the whole time you wouldn't get too far

I have a 02 Foreman S with 200 miles on it. My average miles per gallon is 24 , this is with an average speed of 15-25 and in 2WD 90%-95% of the time. You should get 50+ miles before you need to use the reserve switch. If you ride it "hard" the milage decreases somewhat.

WOW, I would have thought you could have went a lot farther than that with the 450.
I was basing gas usage on the Hondas that I own and they seemly almost have there own refining capacities built into them since they require so little fuel when they are out on the trails far away from home.

Heh, it depends on if you live at WOT. If you back off a little bit for a long cruise it'll get about twice the milage.

Your WOT is a point well taken. I live there about 2% of the time.

Whoever said something about getting tired before you run out of gas is not true. I've rode for whole days before and ran out of gas and wasn't tired yet, filled up, and went back for more.
