1: I just got a new HPD trail pipe yesterday. This thing is AWESOME!!! I just wish I could do more wheelies? Anny ideas? maybe a HPD aggressive clutch kit? Thanks

2: How do I tell if I jetted right? I put in a 30pj and a 270mj. I live near dallas, texas. I rode my scrammy for 2 strait days, and It runs great.

3: My wheel nuts came loose on a ride, and my studs moved around, and ground down the wheel holes where the studs go, and It's about twice as big as It should be. This ever happen to anyone else? Thanks

1.Clutch kit and drop in K@N or Uni and cut front of air box will help.

2.Read your plugs looking for a tan cardboard color oily and black to rich and white to lean.

3 Yes i have to check my wheels everytime i ride also had to buy new hubs and rims because of it.

I'd definately put the clutch kit in, I always heard that when you change the pipe you need to match up the clutch to the new powerband.

I have an HPD pipe and clutch kit in my 99 Scrambler 500 4x4 and it runs great, but it would pull wheelies all day when it was stock.

Adam,

You need to call Ritter Cycle or HPD (whomever you bought your stuff from). But I live in Oklahoma City and we have the same altitude, so we should have the same jetting.

Your pipe came with docs on the jetting. But call them and ask them about your air jet screw setting and the needle setting.

I would help, but I also put a 39PWK carb which should add about 4 additional HP above the pipe. I can tell you it feels like fuel injection on starting, cruising and nailing it. My 400 runs great!

If you get a 39PWK, I can help on the jetting, but call Risk or HPD. They will get you REAL CLOSE.

Chunky
