Hi,
Like you can see in your owner manual, page 53, some SP700 have an oil pressure switch installed and some don't have. Mine don't have. I just wonder if it's possible to add one and what does it cost. Does anyone have experiment of that.
The Rider Information Center is very great ! When your are in maintenant mode, you can so ride with a RPM ! Very great.
Wow, SP700 is a very good machine, after my 500HO, I can say that without mistake...
Thanks for your respons about oil pressure switch if you have.
Bye

My 700 does not have the oil pressure sensor either. I have not looked to see if the wire even exists to hook one up yet. It makes me wonder why Polaris apparently WAS going to put a oil pressure sensor on the 700 but has chosen not to????

Also, how did you get your 700 to stay in maintenance mode while you are driving? My 700 will go out of maintenance mode as soon as you take it out of neutral! Would not mind being able to view RPM's when actually moving.

I have checked under the front cover and I confirm than the wire exist to connect the oil switch pressure.

For the RPM, you are right, I "supposed" it was possible to do that because I have tried it. But, it's exact, I was in neutral position. Excuse me, I was too enthousiat, sorry.

I noticed the switch on page 53 also, so I checked and I don't have it. I asked dealer to look into it to see if I could get one installed (especially after blowing crank seal first time out). They called Polaris and were told it can't be added on to the machine after the fact. Apparently they decided after making a few that it was unnecessary and they discontinued it. All the other machines do fine without it, so I guess it's no big deal.
