My 250r is all apart and has been for a while.I took it apart because it was shaking and making some weird sounds.I had plans to get new center cases, new wiseco crank,ESR310 kit with mx porting,ESR pipe and silencer,38mm air styker carb and replacing all the bearings and seals through out the entire bike.

That was when I was making about 170-200 a week and didn't have to pay school tuition. Now I only make about 100 bucks a week. And my R is going to be apart 4-ever.I am not sure what to do.I am thinking about rebuilding it skipping the 310 kit and just buy one new center case(one is has been welded and leaks alittle bit)And new crank bearings and counter balancer bearings.Or should I stick it out and wait till I get the money to do it the way I want to do it.

If I were you, I would sell the 300EX to pay for the 310 kit and all the other stuff you need. If you don't want to sell the 300, I would ride the 300EX around for awhile if you really want the 310 kit on your R.

My R is all apart now too. I am so tempted to put it back together and ride it in the snow (which I have been waiting a year to do)but I am gonna stick it out and do it right this time so I don't have to tear it down again later on. Stick with it, riding it will be so much more fun when you do get it back together if yo wait.

If you're gonna do it, do it right the first time. I haven't ridden since july because I've been doing things to my 300X. Right now I'm painting the frame black and the hubs red A-Arms red, and swing arm red. I'll post pic's when i get the whole project bike done. It sould be something special.

I am still not sure what I am going to do.Probably stick it out. When my tax returns come I should get enough for a new crank and all the bearings and seals.

I don't want to sell my 300ex.I still ride it just about every other day.It is just SO SLOW.I mean it really is.I plan on buying another R in the next year or so.On to be full race and the other just to mess around with.

I just wanted to get in a full season of racing that is all!Plus I am looking for another job so I can work 2 jobs.

ARE YOU 18?, IF SO JUST GET A CREDIT CARD AND GO ALL THE WAY. PAY IT OFF AT YOUR LEISURE. WHEN YOUR TAX RETURN COMES IN JUST PUT IT ALL TOWARDS THE BILL. AS LONG AS YOU PAYMENTS ARE ON TIME THE INTERST WON'T KILL YOU

If he is 18 and doesn't have a credit card or any credit established the most he will have to spend on his card will probably be under $500

I am only 16.Luckily.I don't want to be 18 I want to stay young 4-ever.

And I don't plan on gettin a credit card either. As nice as they are.My parents are screwed over because credit cards and car loans. So I plan on driving my sonoma 4-ever and buying an old mobile home. But having a big fat garage full of qauds and a Drag car.I really want a 66 nova or a 93-up camaro and building it into a drag car.

Anyway I don't know how it got on this subject!

Do not get a credit card, sorry, but that's bad advice, save your money!! As a matter of fact you should sell the R, to someone, like maybe ME and I'll fix it up and I promise to sell it back to your once you get your high school diploma and are enrolled in a college somewhere. Your education is the most important thing. HA!, Just kiddin' ya. Hope you get it together right, and enjoy it!!
