I was wondering if anyone has had any reliability issues with the automatic transmission on their utiliyt ATV?

It seems from some persepctives that a standard would be more reliable than an automatic. Then again, I have never owned an ATV with an automatic, so I don't know.

 

on my dads trail boss 250 wich is like an work quad the automatic stinks i just put chains on it because it wouldnt go and the transmission wouldnt take the tourqe in deep snow and the transmission popped out of gear and groun out the gears now it hardly goes in forward and the reverse went out a long time ago
