Hi guys,
My girls 400EX has a K&N powerkit & a Big Gun race series exhaust.
I've got it jetted just like I did last summer. However the riding bug has been biting lately & I'm itching to go. So what kind of cold weather jetting would you suggest on the main & needle ?

jetting has nothing to do with how cold or hot it is out side.

It runs leaner in the cold weather.
You better start treating that Banshee better !

Bansheeboy doesn't experience the cold that we have up here. He prob. never has to change his jets. But, yes the weather changes will def. require jetting changes too, if you go slightly rich in the winter, you should be ok for summer if you want a compromise.

How cold is it getting?(Im assuming below freezing) And where are you at now in jetting and air lid on or off? Putting the air lid on will fatten it if you now have it off. But if you are going from above freezing to below I would step up main jetting one size per -10to-15 degrees below freezing. If you go a little fat it will not hurt it. Better safe than sorry.(a lot of people blow motors from not doing this) leans out and seizes piston. The needle should be fine however going to the fourth(assuming you are on third now) position on the needle will not hurt it and will fatten it from 1/4 to 3/4. and maybe turn your idle air mixture screw on the bottom of the carb in a half to full turn. I run the fourth here in N.C with temps averaging 60-90 and winter never much colder than 38-40 average.
Email me if I can help you any more.
