what do you think a fourtrax250 would do in a 1/4 mile it is a 1985 fourtrax 250 mine does 50mph

hahha funny you will start crying when you see how much power it is puting out for that old and kind of a atv

 

Wow that thing is pretty worked, I have a stock 87 fourtrax 250, for the farm. That thing tops out at 50 if i pump the tires up (26" rear tires). My friend has a foreman 400 4x4 and he has a speedo and he said we were doing about 50 and i was even with him wide open. Nobody can diss the 250's those things move!

 

ya those things are amazing, i just used mine to push my broken down explorer up a hill and into my driveway, my dad didnt think it would have the power but i showed him

mines a stock '86 with carslile tires (cheap tires )

 

mine i have had it up to 55 but i had to back out of it becouse it was at 9500 rpm and the rev limiter is i think set at 8500 rpm i do not know i i get it to rap out higher and that is Not going down hill

 

I am going to say about 27-30 seconds.

A car that runs mid 13's goes through the traps at about 100 mph.So if U are going half the speed it is going to take double the amount of time.

Acceleration comes into play too. Not just top speed. For instance 2 cars drag, one accels faster and can have a lower speed when it crosses the line then the car thats going faster.

 

It will do it in about 21-22 secs. My rubi does it in 19-20sec. My friends 1986 fourtrax 250 does it it about 21-22secs.
