I’m going to be getting new tires for my Foreman and I have a couple of questions. First, I have Dunlop K401c 25x8-12 on the front and K405c 25x10-12 on the back. I’m looking to upgrade to the ITP 589 M/S and was wondering about size. Will the ITP 25xxxx be the same size as the Dunlop or somewhat taller? I’m thinking about moving up to the 26xxxx but don’t want to jump up in size too much.

That leads me to my next question. I bought the Foreman used and the front tires had just been replaced. So I’m thinking I’ll replace the rear set first with the front to follow when needed. My dealer says I can jump up 1” in tire size between front and back without causing problems, true? Thanks!

 

What your dealer says is pretty much true if you are going by ACTUAL measurements and not the "claimed" height of the tire. If you measure the stock 25" tires on your quad, you will notice that even though they have the same "claimed" height, they are actually off by as much as an inch.

If you want to run a different tire on just one end for now, call the company that you plan to buy the tires from and get the "TRUE-INFLATED" height. Then compare it to what you have now.
