problems i had:
(i bought it brand new in 2000)
rear skid plate broke off
i lost over 20 bolts and nuts
front shock fell off
motor blew destoyin the whole head and caused a bolt to blow though the case
motor was rebuilt then blew up 20 hours later (still in the shop)
starter burnt out 2 times
selinoid went
rear bearings blew out 2 times
front bearings blew out
front sproket fell off (stock)
muffler mount broke off (stock)
both headlights burnt out 2 times
nuetral light stopped workin
and since the electrical start is so unreliable i put a 1987 warriors pull strart in her and its a *&^%* to pull without a compression release
i put over 2000 just to maintain it
my angry caused me to right this letter
i think i got a lemon

Here are all the problems with my 99 Warrior:
1. The cases in the bottom end were defected and ruined my whole bottom end and was in the shop for 3 months
2.when it was in the shop for the bottom end my top end was ruined because the stock air filter wouldn;t stay in place and let dirt in my motor, this was 2 months after I bought it
3. gone through 3 starters in a year
4.broken 2 front shocks becuz of defected welds
5.lost tons of bolts and still losing them
6.had electrical problems
7. stock skidplate what a joke
Everything happen with a year
And I still lots of other small things that went wrong

I've noticed with all of these toys (quads, snowmobiles and even cars) that you can find a lemon anywhere. I've seen brand new sleds of all kinds burn down after 2 weeks of riding; and brand new cars of all makes that are in the shop constantly until customers lose thier patience and sell them for half of what they bought them for. After all my experience with everything else, I expect this stuff to happen to quads too. It's become part of the hobby! That's why I live by this saying:
You wanna play, you gotta PAY.
Ain't it true?

Well I have to say....I own a 99 warrior and LOVE it! Although I am really looking to sell it for an upgrade to a RAPTOR!
But I can't really complain about my Warrior except that I think there is a flaw with the tie rod ends! There not strong enough for such a heavy front end! I have friends who had the same problem so I know it's not just me! People at the shops put these quads together, so I'm thinking maybe they didn't do a good job with yours and that's why your looseing bolts! I don't know! I give my warrior a thumbs up for those you care!

That's a shame guys. I think you have a lemon there. The only bad thing about my 2001 Warrior is I keep having to fill up the gas tank 'cause it keeps running low. Truly sorry to hear that. My sons friend has a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 that sounds just like your problem. Always something wrong with it and the dealer won't stand behind him one bit.
