<< People at the shops put these quads together, so I'm thinking maybe they didn't do a good job >>

These things are pretty much in one piece when they get to the shop. When I bought one of mine it was still in the crate and it took them like an hour to get it ready to go. They told me all they really have to do is run through a checklist to check things like... get this... make sure nuts and bolts are tight, fluids are in it etc.

1. Stock skid plates are garbage.
2. you should've checked all bolts and nuts.
3. Your shock fell off? You should've checked to make sure they were tight.
4. If your motor blew up, you were abusing the throttle and not letting it cool down.
5. if your motor blew for the second time, your jetting was probably off or what i said in number 4.
6. The warrior starter may be a weak.
7. about your bearing blowing out, you should have greased them and it probably wouldn't have happened.
8. Your front sprocket fell off because you never checked to see if it was torqued down good enough.

I'm sorry if i accused you of stuff that you did (didn't?) do. But warrriors are very reliable and i think all alot of the probs can be attributed to lack of maintainance.

Hey Quadmxer

I realize that the machines come in the shop partially done already!
But I can say I work in a shop and I know they have to put some parts on also! I was just trying to give him suggestions! Let's not nail me here!

Whoa! Chill out brother. That wasn't my intent. You just made it sound like the problems these guys were having were caused by incompetence from the guys at the shop (which is you I guess). It seems like you would try to stick up for yourself and others working in the shop rather than making you and your peers (the guys in the shop) look like idiots.
By the way, what parts on their lists that went wrong do the shops have to put on? Other than maybe a few of the nuts and bolts that were lost, I don't see anything.

got a 99 warrior and it has preformed gread so far. but 15 min of maintainance before each ride is something everyone should do, if not for yourself do it for the others that ride with you.
but as many warriors that have been produced there will be some lemons.

live for the moment it could be your last

I hardly ever beat my warrior and I always do maintnance and when something breaks or wears out I repleace it right away. An the dealership even said it was defected from factory when I took it to get it worked on and it was in out of the shop about 3 or 4 times in the first year and after that I had hardly any problems since, except for the basic stuff.

I am pretty tough on my Warrior and I have had absolutely no problems at all. I think the Warrior is one of the most reliable ATVs there is.

My two friends have warriors. The one friend bought his used and its a 97
he the only problem he has is breaking tie rod ends. And the other Bought his 99 warrior a week before me. They were the only 2 at the dealer his is the White/Blue warrior and mine is the gray/yellow. He has had no problems with his and they both ride harder and dumber than me.
