I'm looking to put a set of Kenda Bearclaws on my 99 recon. Could someone tell me what size I should get. Can you tell me if I can put Bearclaws on back and leave the stock on the front, becuase I haven't found rim sizes the same on both sets of tires. I'm looking to stay about 22 or go one inch larger to 23 inches, if possible. If you know where to buy ones that I could use, please let me know where they are.

The 22X12-9 Bearclaw will fit with no problems.
The clearance between the tire and exhaust is much closer, but not close enough to cause them to contact on another.

The Beartrackers will work but they are a heavy tire. You will find in really sticky situations they will rob you of needed power. I really like the GBC Gators I have on my 250EX. I got them in 22X10X9's. They are about 6 pounds lighter than the 'claws and really incredible in the mud. I have been thru stuff I didn't think I could ever do with a 2 wheel drive. Another good light tire is the Sur Trac. They aren't as stiff as the B'claws or Gators so they will not hurt the ride as much but they won't give as much protection from flats as the others. My brother has Duro Excavators on his. They get him thru the mud as well, but they are taller and heavier so I can pull away from him in a drag with identical machines.
