ATV MAGAZINE, ATV OF THE YEAR IS TRULY THE???
#1
HEY ALL,
I just got the new atv magazine, and they declare the new sportsman 700 the atv of the year. now, in the last paragraph on the article with the shootout, they say, (for the group of quads tested, we CANT PICK ONE SINGLE WINNER) then they go on to say, (the best of the new 650 class+ is the polaris 700, it provides amazing comfort for a long day on th job or riding the trails, and it can play almost as well as it works)
THEN THEY GO ON TO SAY,( IF YOU WANT MORE OF A HIGHSPEED SPORTS RIDE FROM THE CLASS, GO WITH THE GRIZZLY 660!) now, maybe its just me, but why are they calling the 700 atv of the year, when they say the grizzly outdoes it in the trails? they also say the prarie would have won it hands down if there suspencion was alot better. the article appears to me to say, if you want a workhorse, then buy the polaris, but if you want a fun offroad 4x4 quad, then buy the grizzly! so, why didn't they share the atv of the year between these 3 quads? In my opinion, for every 10 quads sold, 1 is used mainly for work, while 9 are used mainly for trail riding and so on. i think the magazine is a little bias on there pics, as well as pritty fickle over there contradictions over the quads tested. on top of all of it, they said, if you want to trail ride, dont buy the ac!!! then if the ac is such a great work quad, why didn't it win atv of the year? go figure. sorry for ranting, but this article is all out of wack in my humble opinion. all replys are more than welcome!
