Anyone know of bigger oil coolers for 400ex???? I have had a 426 fairly modified for one race season and I really need to get rid of some heat. I would like to find a bigger oil cooler that ideally would bolt up to the 400ex. I don't know if I would be that lucky.

Has anyone done this yet??

Thanks

www.motojoe.com has a larger capacity oil tank made by PDD Racing ($270). Carrying more oil will help with cooling.

Check out www.fourstroketech.com under "New Product Releases" or something like that. He has put together an auxiliary oil cooler that works in conjunction with the stock unit (which I think is just an oil tank?) that greatly reduces the oil temp. and returns the oil to the top end, which according to him is the hot area on the 400EX. I have one of his oil cooler kits for the Warrior and it is top notch. I believe the price listed for the Honda kit is $115.

If MDL's 400EX cooler is as good as the one he made for the Warrior it should really help keep your engine from overheating.

I got my oil cooler after my engine overheated and burned all its oil on only a 30 mile ride.
