Anyone know where I can get a stock ds carb slide quickly ? I kind of had a problem with one of the four little "ears" inside the slide that holds the jet in place. I was putting the little white plug w/o-ring back in and it went snap and flew across the garage!..Oh well. Will 3 of the 4 "ears" hold the stock needle in place until I find a replacement? Has this happened to anyone else? I'm such a spazz!

Doh!

This same thing happened to my buddy Sam. We just put the needle jet in and used tape to hold it until his new part came in. I think it ran him $35.

I have stretched one of my little tabs out and I have had it pop out while going off jumps. It just acts like it is flooding out and I take the top off and push it in.Good luck.

That was the same thing Dusty did right before we went to the dunes. When the new one comes in make sure it is not cracked before you take it home because his was.

I noticed that the 2002 Yamaha Grizzly 660 has the mikuni bsr42 carb. I wonder if it is the same carb, internally that is on the stock ds? Could you interchange the internal parts? like the slide?

hmmmmm......
