5699..... I know that knowsalot has posted this some where in here. I'm told they will be here in April in my region. My dealer says he will only know when Viking freight loads them on the truck 3-days before they get here. Any other times quoted are bogus since they are coming from Japan into the L.A. area. No dealer knows until the trucking company loads them. White Z-400's coming in July.... They will not be detuned and my sources say they have holeshotted Raptors!!!! H.P. numbers are still hush hush.. Sorry I didn't realize I was in the Bombardier category. This was for everybody so no bashing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the boys at Suzuki have created anything like the ones from the mid 80's to early 90's. They will have one heck of a bike. I know this will be a 4 stoke unlike the 2 strokes of the earlier era. I'm glad that the MFG's have seen the light and are now making something besides the 4wheel drives. That's all I've really seen from 92 to 99. That's 7yrs of bad luck in my book. I know the big utils have their place but dang their boring. Sorry for raving, nothing to do here - just got off work.

 

Thanks for the info on the Z400, in a way it's got to do with the DS650, it's competition. If it really holeshots Raptors that'ed be amusing to see.

 

I think the new Zuki is an exciting development for the sport. It if lives up to expectations, and has power, technology, convenience and handling, the elusive element, it is going to raise the bar. Bombardier needs a 400 4-stroke like this. Light, powerful, high tech motor, 400 cc class, with reverse like the Zuki. Then add sixth gear, EFI and some good shocks, chrome-moly steel frame with aluminum swingarm and subframe.
And in Bombardier style have it be wide to start with. Kinda like a Moto Cannondale with a chrome moly frame. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img] I'd like that. I think I am going to like the new Zuki.

 

hey,about the boring 4x4's,thats what i thought till i bought a 650 prairie.man that thing will go almost anywhere and climb hills that a sport bike can only dream of.but i still love my DS too.
