I have a modified end cap, 175 mikuni main jet, air box lid off, and 400ex Ohtsu Radials tires. My friend has a Stock Raptor but is going to buy A DMC dual exhaust, jets, and modify the air box. Which bike do you think would win in a drag race.

 

hey bad u should have no problem beating him the biggest down fall is not getting trackion .. but u got that so u will take him ...
i personaly ride with a raptor ,full pipe jetted and moded air box and i still beat him buy just a bit .. so u shouldn,t have a problem ...

The DS wins for sure!Hookup is all the DS realy needs to get the hole shot with a Raptor,and the Ohtsu's fix that..

It all depends on the rider - there is a certain amount of talent to dragging too, not to mention rider weight. 100 yrds is done and over in seconds, no room for error.

 

How long of a drag race? Most are only around 300' and if that is the case the Raptor will beat you easily. After about 500' you will run him down. Modified though the Raptor would still get you, they responds to mods beter than the DS

 

Well I'm biased... but I say the DS wins 6 out of 10 times. That is if the riders and the tire's are equal.

No raptor with the same mods as my DS will beat me.

 

Yea with your cheap Ron woods pipe, I wouldnt even call that a mod. I did speak the truth in short race the Raptor will win, on top end the DS will win. But most drags are about 300' wich is acceleration. The Raptor has it and the DS doesnt.
