Banshee plastic *help me*
#1
Where can i get new plastic for my 92 banshee. I hate the red yellow and black set up. How much is yamaha plastic vs. aftermarket? Can you notice a diffrence in overall looks or durabity between stock and aftermarket? What about stickers?

Try www.eastcoastatv.com for used plastic. I have bought Maier aftermarket plastic before. It's ok but not as durable as the original. New plastic is pretty expensive but you can get a discount at YSA Yamaha Suzuki of Arizona. Not sure what their URL is.

FullBore does make a decent set of aftermarket plastics for the Banshee's, but I think about the best, other than stock, is the UFO plastics. They will cost you around $275-$300 for both the front and rear fenders and they come in white, black and blue (like stock). You would still need to order the radiator and tank plastics from Yamaha, or look for a used set on the classifieds on this website or on Ebay. Don't buy Maier if you are looking for something shiny like stock, you will not be happy with their product.

I agree. My friend put Maier black on his EX, and it was dull! I think that Full Bore makes the best plastic. Like someone said, it's expensive. You can try eBay and search for Yamaha Banshee and see about plastic. I'm sure they have some!!
