Grizzly 660? How does it rack up to the others?

I assume you mean the 02 grizz? I was going throught the same thing when i decided to buy a new quad, i decided that the grizz would be the best for me, and will be purchasing one soon. Most people say that it goes between 63-67mph. I've not heard too many complaints about it reliability wise, at least not on the later models. Only thing i hear about is the limiters getting in the way, but all of them can be bypassed (SilverBear seems to be the pro in that area) From what i hear they haul really nice, my friend has one and the only complaint he had were the tires (as compared to the sp 700 rawhide grip tires). but he got new tires and it rocks! I IRS is superior to straight axel quads, and as far as that goes, i never heard any problems with that either. If you have any more queations just ask .

I am fortunate enough to have a lot of friends into quads. So over the last couple of years I been able to ride just about all of the Big bore machines.
I have a 02 Grizz. I had a 99 Grizz and my wife has a Kawi Prairie (not the 650). My buddies have Sportsmans, H.O.'s, Rubicon and Suzuki's. I have to say that so far, I like the Grizz over the rest. I rode thiers before making my mind up. The second machine I would have gone for would have been the H.O. The IRS makes such a difference. Solid rear axles are outdated. As far as speed..not a factor. I got a quad to ride in trails. Why would I want to go 60mph in the woods.
I bought it to have fun on..not kill myself!

I have a 2002 Grizzly and I haven't seen any other atv that can keep up with it or do as well in the mud.The only one that even comes close is the Prairie650.I ride with a lot of guy's who own a variety of big-bore machines and they're all envious! kidgrizzly 2002grizzly660
