IM looking for the cheapest place new..and also, im looking at the 400ex and raptor, this would be my first quad ever...i know the raptor can kick my *** if i treat it wrong, which i wont. but i dont want to end up having to spend lots of $$ on the 400 to get it up to speed with a stock raptor...is a raptor really that much different? and whats really the worst that can happen to me? im 16, 140 lbs, responsable....but what do u think i should do?

 

Even though the raptors can smoke you, get a 50cc kit for the 400ex and you can keep up or pass a raptor in a drag. Even though stock a 400ex cant kep up with a raptor, I dont think you care, do you? I sure wouldnt, I dont race!

stop talking..they dont make a 450 400ex they have a 440ex and a 465ex...as for you trexxraptor...the 400ex will do you just FINE for the first few months or so IF YOU ARE A GOOD LEARNER!!....IF NOT IT WILL SERVE YOU WELL FOR A YEAR OR SO with out needing to be modded, after you get used to the power get a pipe,filter and go on from there...id definately stay away from the trannie eating monsters (raptors) and stay w/ mr. reliable (all hondas)

no...im the type of guy that tells people the facts so he doesnt go out looking for something and find out that that "something" doesnt exixt, and the last time i checked stating the truth is not starting "flames"
