Well I finally got to ride the darn thing on sunday after waiting as patiently as a could all week. All i can say is THIS THING ROCKS!!!

Got a little bit worried when we first fired her up. It started first try (even though it is really cold here) and ran for about 30 seconds before it cut out. Then it wouldn't think of starting again. We couldn't figure out what was wrong and figured we flooded it or something trying to start it. Then I noticed the fuel line was still shut off.. DUH! Corrected that problem and it worked like a charm.

We took it through all kinds of different terrain varying from mud to rocks to hills to snow. This thing was unstoppable. Anything and everything we pointed it at it would glide over. The suspesion is unbelieveable. While going through floor board deep water with football sized rocks all through it and 3" thick ice blocks floating around it didn't come close to getting hung up or getting stuck in the ice. Even big ice ruts weren't a threat for scraping the underbelly. (not that it would have mattered with all that protection )

The power was perfect and in low gear it was clmbing really steep hills in 3rd from a dead stop using less than half throttle. (we tried not to go over half since it is not broken in) That really impressed me!

The acceleration was good and it would do donuts great. But the best thing I would have to say is the suspension and power. Riding on it gave me that wonderful "unstoppable" feeling that only comes when driving a tank!

There is only two minor annoyances i have with it and both aren't that big of deal. First is the mud protection, or lack thereof. When you are a passenger you have a steady stream of mud landing on your foot and leg when the ground is wet. If i had worn boots this wouldnt' have bothered me.. but no i wore hiking shoes.. and my feet got plastered, wet and then froze.. it was not cool. But i surived and am no worse for wear, and i learned something from it too.

The second thing that sort of annoyed me was the skid plate vibration. It didn't bug me THAT much.. but i noticed it. Especially when some hondas started up next to me and sounded so.. well..you know how hondas sound! But anyway that can be fixed. not a problem.

I would like to know how much mileage i can expect from this beast? It burned just less than half a tank in 20 miles but it is not even close to broken in yet either so i know that will affect it. I was just wondering this so i know how much about to expect.

I took just over 15 pictures (*sniff sniff* its all muddy now too) but infortunatly i do not have a digital camera so i have to finish the rest of the film and get it processed and scanned before putting them on here. I will let you all know when i put them up.

All in all i think this is the bestest quad ever!!! but that is just me!
