I have taken my 1990 LT250 apart to sandblast the frame and motor (because they painted it ugly). Im trying to restore it back to original colors. I was gonna get the paint at a local place and have them mix it if i could find the colors i need etc.

Called local dealer (1hour away) they didnt have a clue
Called Suzuki and they told me to check color-rite.com but i didnt really find what i needed there, other than i could order the paint there.

What are all you guys doing for paint when you repaint your frames etc ?

Thanks in advance!

I bought cans of Suzuki Blue frame paint at my local Suzuki dealer, I forget the manufacturer of the paint, but I will try to remember to look for it when I get home.

Your best bet would to be to get it powder coated. It will be more expensive but you can get almost any color you can think off, it will last much longer than spray paint, and looks great. I tried painting mine but the paint chips off and scratches real bad after a little while, I have decided to get it powder coated some time in the near future.
