Can anyone tell me the size of their ZILLA motor?
I mean from the top of the head to the bottom of the case(total height),from the left cover to the right cover(Mag to clutch),the back of the case to the front of the case(Front engine mounts to swing arm pivit bolt)and the lenght of the kickstarter.
It's for a crazy project mx quad I'm planing.(zilla motor in a Raptor frame thats been set up for mx)
Thanks!!!

For the love of zuki, please do not do that!!!!!!!!!! Get a nice TRX250R frame if you must re-frame the beast. Heck, that'd probably be cheaper than the 'Rapzilla' idea, and out perform it. And it wouldn't ruin two perfectly good bikes! (sorry, just my opinion)
I also heard that Raptor frames break very easily. I recall a story about a guy who did ALL trail riding and taco'd the 'bird of prey'...
If I were you, I'd just build up the Raptor engine, (a great platform from what I've heard) and then I'd build up a 250R frame for MX and shove the 500R engine in. Then you'd have two great quads, one for turn key ease, modern comfort and arm ripping thumper power and another for your insane moto racer fantasies of grabbin holeshots and clearing massive gaps with ease...

I agree with SuzukiQuadracer too but you need to replace the Raptors gearset with aftermarket components or they WILL fail. There was a recent DirtWheels or ATV Sport article which had a story about a Raptor set up for desert racing. They gave the name of the company that makes the gearset. I'm not sure if this weakness was totally resolved with the later model Raptors but I would find out first before pushing it hard. I heard about a guy who grenaded his entire motor when the gears failed!
A guy recently had a Quadzilla engine in a TRX250R frame for $5,000 on Cycletrader.com and it looked awesome. That's a project I've wanted to do as well. Consider a 400EX frame too. With some gussetting it might be better than the 250R frame.
