Theres a place in chicago listing them for $5395.00. Its online somehwere. But you may not want to drive that far. They list normaly for 6499.00 Tell the guy you'll buy one for 6499.00 out the door. I started out asking for 5900.00 out the door wound up with the 6499.00 out the door. That was almost a year ago on a 2001 model. Good luck.

I bargained with my local dealer and picked up my 02' for 6,250.00 including tax, title and tags. Everything included and also a helmet and goggles too. I called all the dealer in a 100 mile radius and then went to the person with the best price. Just one thing to remember... Think about service and the reputation of the dealer. I would willingly pay a couple hundred more for a machine if I get good customer service and support !!

www.chicagocyclecenter.com $5395.00
Got my new 400ex there cheap. The drive isn't bad untill you reach Chicago. It is horrible, but worth it.
