I have been trying to get this old honda XR70 running.It will start and run good if you pull start it with a 4 wheeler but it wont start with the kick starter.Any ideas?

How's the compression? Coast starting it will keep a constant vacum going were if the compression is slightly low a kick may not produce enough.

How about spark? It will be also be similar to the above senario.

Check the valve clearances . I suspect the intake valve is to tight.

Cold compression was 90.Plug dont fire when kicking like it couuld be a mag?But i can check the valves too it no problem on those old ones.I may try a new plug too. Thanks for the help if you think of anything else let me know.
