I have a Quest 650 xt that has 60 miles. It has no power, it sputters, and misses. The dealer has one that is brand new and does the same. I was wondering if anybody had this problem that is able to help me. This machine seems plagued with troubles, the speedo does funny stuff, the starter sounds like it is about to fall off. HELP!!!!!!!!!

 

I have a Quest 650XT also, but I have had none of the problems you mentioned. I have read that the speedo can do some strange things and generally be not very accurate. There has been a number of recalls & service bulletins on the Quest, but I'm sure your dealer would have checked those. Have you tried to contact Bombardier about this problem? is there another dealer in your area that you could take it to (sometimes a fresh pair of eyes can find the problem). Sorry that I can't be of more help.

 

After my previous post, I remember a Quest owner mentioning a recall for an o-ring or gasket that fails and causes a leak into the airbox. Anyway it was something around those lines - I can't remember who had the problem though, you might need to search around on some of the forums.
