Every mag i've read has done what seems to be okay shootouts but they dissapoint me, lets see utility machines get worked not just played with in 2 feet of water, lets see them up to the racks, getting into real mud and pulling heavy loads in bad terrain. Work em to see who will break first, that kind of shootout. I know the power of a grizzly, I know the sport of a Kawi, and I know the 700 Polaris is geared for more work. Well lets see what these big bores can do when the have to pull 1000lbs around in rough terrain for a few hours atleast, attach a plow to it and plow stone for 2 hours. Lets see who will work and who will break, lets see if the auto trannies can work like geared machines, that's what I want to see, I want the strongest, and toughest out there, I hear Honda is not the work bike it used to be, but Bombardier is the toughest machine you can get, well lets see, give us a shootout that will test the strength of the machine and not who pays the MAGAZINE to win.
Ex: ATV MAGAZINE said the Arctic Cat was basically junk, now i've always been told they and the Bom are the best work machines that can do everything and not break, well the mag killed the AC in my opionion, why they didn't PAY,thats why.
Does anyone else feel the same, are you tired of being brainwashed by these mags. Now all you see on them is advertisment for Yam and Polaris, the only thing they don't tell you is a 500 can do the same work if not better and get twice the gas mileage doing it.

I was glad to see the April Dirtwheels do a shootout with the big bores with huge mud tires in the mud. They actually did a more real life test. The much talked about locking front differentials on the Yam and Kaw did not work as well as the same old system Polaris has had forever. It was good to see a test that told you something from real world action not on who has the best atv on paper.
