The electric start on my 01 Kodiak is not working, when I hit the start button I get a buzzing sound from my winch solenoid. I have checked all of the connections, battery, etc. I can start the machine w/ the pull start just fine, anyone have any other ideas????

MY 93 Kodiak did the same thing. My problem was that I would just start the atv move it a few feet to get it out of the way and shut it off. I drained the battery by doing this for a few months. I recharged my battery and I was back in business.

You may have already done this but, thats how I fixed mine.

Sounds like you've got a bad spot in the starter motor. My 99 has simmilar problems, sometimes I can get away with giving the recoil a little tug and the starter will kick-over. If that doesn't work you may want to concider replacing the Brushes in your Starter, or at least check the condition of them
Good luck

Same thing happened to my 02. Stick a battery charger on it for a while.
