I have a question for you guys. A couple of friends and I are planning on racing (mx)with our Raptors this year. We were wondering which engine mod would be better for mx racing. The Trinity 680 kit or a high compression piston, high rise cam, with the head ported and valves done. I weigh between 230 and 240 so any extra power is needed. I am already running an aftermarket exhaust, with a proflow filter, no lid on air box and a dynojet kit in it. Any help would be appreciated because I'm tired of getting beat by one of my buddy's Raptor that has the same mods as me except he weighs 170lbs. Take Care and Ride Safe

Ptim3- I have the Trinity 686 kit with the extras. Money well spent. This quad revs, revs and revs. It builds power to the top. Where the stocker runs out of steam this keeps going and going. Runs on super unleaded also. If you are going to do all that you listed, the bore does not cost much more. Better to do it all, than to wish you had later. Trinity did a great job for me. My 686 exceded my expectations. It might be overkill for the mx track though.
