Fello ATV riders,
I have a friend who is looking at a 1998 yamaha big bear. The guy is asking $4000..It has a winch with it. Any thoughts? Is it a good machine? I currently do not ride a yamaha. I am a poloris man even though my new sp700 lives in the shop more than it does at my house...Thanks

I have a 2000 Kodiak that has hardly been ridden the last year. It has a brand new snow plow that has never pushed snow. Planning to sell it for $4,000. That price sounds high to me.

You could get a new one last yr for $5400.00. $4k for a 98 is way high, especially since the new ones are in and out of 4x4.

I bought a 2000 Big Bear with a snow plow for $3500. last December. It had seen very little use. I would not have paid much more for it as I had a new one scouted out for about $5300. For a 1998, that is definately a high price.
