Anyone ever replace the ball joint boots on stock R (88-89) a-arms. Where did you get them? I searched for them , but cant find anyone who sells just the boot. Honda sells ball joints complete for the 86-87 R. I dont want to have to buy the older ball joints just to use the boots. I have been searching for foreign car tie rod end boots to use, but had no luck finding correct size. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Find someone with bad a-arms and take the boots from them. I did a search one time for the same thing and found nothing. Maybe you will have better luck.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Try Helm enterprises (717-334-4647). I bought a few of the ball joint boots from him a couple of years ago. They fit nice , although I am not sure if he sells them anymore.

Would the LSR ball joint dust seals work? I ordered them for $7 each for my LSR A-arms.
