Just a question for those who have visited the Little Sahara ATV park in OK, just wondered what winter temps were like there. I'm from Iowa, and except for this year, it's usually a little snowy. I just wondered what temps were like in December and January, and how big the park is, and if it's worth the 15 hr. drive. Thanks for the input.

Well, I live in Ok, but have never been to Lil' Sahara, but I can comment about the weather. It doesnt get that cold here. In Dec or Jan. it might be a little below freezing in the morning, but it might get up to 50's or 60's in the afternoon. A famous saying around here is that anyone who tries to predict the weather here in Oklahoma is either a visitor or stupid. I dont claim either!!!! Hopes this helps.

 

I will be there on April the 28th thru May 2nd. Going there from Indianapolis. About 12 hours from Indy.

What's the weather like at the end of april / beginning of may? Is it very rainy and wet? I don't want to get there and have nothing but wet sand the whole time.
