I ran across a cool digital speedometer that looks like it would mount easily on an AC atv. Does anyone know wether these work very well??? Speedometer Link

I just purchased my 1st ATV last year so I'm fairly new to ATVing. What I want to know is why there are so few accessories built specifically for Arctic Cat? Most of the sites I visit list accessories for all the other manufacturers. AC appears to have a good following so this confuses me.

That looks very interesting. Toyjunkies.com has the "computer" as they call it for $64.00. Looks like it wouldn't be to hard to fit on any quad. I wish it had a tach built in, that would be neat to have. All of the installs they show are on the front brake rotor somewhere or another.

The reason there are not as many mods for the AC as other manufacturers is because although there are a lot of AC owners we are still a very small minority compared to other ATV owners and when companies make mods and products for ATVs they will make them for the ATVs that people own more of. Just good economic practice....

I can't give you a real reason for a lack of accessories built specifically for Arctic except for the fact everybody and their brother has either a Honda or Yamaha or Polaris. Cats simply aren’t as popular (yet). Another thing to consider is the fact Cat's come with more from the factory i.e. skid plates, more ground clearance, great suspension, good 4x4 system etc. Since a Suzuki engine and tranny are used there is a possibility to get parts meant for Suzuki (however this is somewhat limited). Overall I'm happy with my second Cat, just wishing for a locker...

Anything would be better than that speedometer that looks like it came off of a 1978 huffy!!
