How long is the strip at little S. And what gearing do the raptors run? What is the elevation? Thanks

 

The Drag strip at Little Sahara, OK is "Unofficial" No lights & you need screening people to keep people from crossing the track (some one crossed the track at snake hunt & it wasn't pretty, broken bones & quads). You could run about 1/4 mile if you can keep it clear. I've only watched at Sahara so I'm not sure of the gearing. Since your in TX you ought to come Drag Race with us at Atoka, OK. 2nd Sat of the month from Mar to Nov. The ASDA Heartland Nationals are Memorial Day weekend. Hundreds of quads & big money to win. I got 3rd in Pro 3 quad last year & made $350 the winner got $1500. There is a link to Atoka Motorsports Park on My Web Site.

You might PM vilnrk he's got a bad A$$ 250R on alky & a turbo Raptor on alky that he runs on the drag strip at Sahara & at Atoka. He can give you more specific info.

 

moose- thanks for the reply. I plan on coming up to Atoka in the very near future. I want to meet up with you and velocityraptor. need to get a map out and see how for from ft. Worth Tx. Would like to get the NOS on first!

 

14, The drag strip is approx.200yds, But you could get 300yds out of it if you wanted. The strip is very wide, and level/slightly down hill at the end. Its real cool during BIG weekends like Snake Hunt because their can be up to 35 bikes on the line and spectators on both sidelines the whole lenght of the race.
