In all honesty, i havent either..... I have just read a thread that said the rear brake was POS but why?????

Anyways, i have noticed with the engine brake, heck i almost never use the brakes!lol...cept ta shift. BUT i will be heading out this weekend to find some hills and i know that i will be using them then.

Com'on guys... WHAT'S WRONG with the brakes?!?! And if there is something, what to do to fix them.

Nobody has answered this question, I guess there is nothing at all wrong with the 02 Grizzly breaks. They must be fine.

Amazing that if you ask a question, that individuals do not respond when they say something is wrong yet wont explain. I truely hope that there is NOTHING wrong with the brake system. I have been riding a little everyday and this weekend we will be riding with another grizzly on a 2 1/2 hour trail system. So i will post an update of what my "opinion" is on this bike. So far...... I LOVE IT!

There is nothing wrong with the Griz front brakes. But I don't like the feel or sound of the rear brake. I wish Yamaha would have just put disc brakes on the rear like the front. Not that weird brake that is there now.

i am not thrilled with the rear brake on my griz, but that is not to say its a problem. it just seemes to get weaker when you plow it through some thick mud or sand. they have never failed me, or wore out on me though. if anyone thinks there is a problem, then that is probibally just there own quad, and not a universal issue!
