I have a 300ex and just bought a full DMC exhaust system and was wondering what the difference between a dyno jet ket and the K&N jet kit is. Also I would have to get a stage 3 jet kit correct?

 

dyno and K&N kits are the same thing,,and if you use a K&N filter you'll use a stage 2 kit..

 

Yeah, like he said dyno and k&N are the same thing.

When I had my 300ex, I had a Cobra silencer, header, K&N filter, outerwear, and no air box cover and in the instructions I got from K&N, mine was considered a stage 3.

 

stage 1 - k&n stock replacement air filter, stock air box, stock or aftermarket pipe

Stage 2- k&n stock replacement air filter, modified airbox, stock or aftermarket pipe

Stage 3 - clamp on air filter , aftermarket pipe
