URGENT Zilla help needed, please (I also posted this in the Zuki forum)

First, let me start by telling you about a noise the motor has started making.
Its a tick tick (VERY fast, consistant with RPM). It sounds as if its coming from the flywheel area. The flywheel seems to have no play, or VERY VERY little anyway, so I dont think its the crank bearings. They seem fine. Anyway, my Zilla is now (same time as noise started) acting like it has a jetting problem. It is cutting out under WOT and wont rev worth crap. It is NOT the jetting though, I know this for a fact from a diagnostic ride and testing today. (besides, it ran great with the same jetting the other day)
COULD this possibly be one of the electronic things behind the flywheel has backed out a screw or something, and moved into contact with the flywheel, hence the noise. This could explain my cutting out problem. It does seem like an electronic/spark problem.
Does this sound feasable?
Thanks people, im supposed to go to Glamis this weekend. "urgent"
