Hello everyone! I have only had my Raptor a little over a month, one thing I know is that the tires almost get too much traction. I rode my friends 400EX and my Raptor back to back, he has 18" holeshots on his. It turned way better, power slides super easy. I know that the EX will prolly always turn better unless I do alot of work. Also, One of the many Banshees around here has the same 18" holeshots and offset rims to make it wider in the front and back. It also is alot better then stock. How good are the holeshots on the Raptor and is it better to have the 18" or the 20"?? will it power slide any better then stock? What other tires are good on the Raptor? I ride in alot of different stuff, but mostly hard packed dirt, woods and then mud in that order. I think I definitly want the offset wheel, they helped alot, now i just need to pick the right tire. Thanks in advance for any help...

Hey Raptorrider, How did you like the jet kit and foam filter? Did you notice an improvment? Keep in mind that with the 20" tires you are at 4 1/2" from the ground at your lowest point. Ive hit many things and broke a chain once because of this. I went to 22" XCT Holeshots. I now have 5 3/8" clearance and almost never hit anything anymore. The holeshots hook up well and slide well. A very good tire IMO. Get the 1" offset wheels for the front. My front is now 47+" wide. I also bought the 2 1/2" Dura Blue wheel spacers from Parts Direct $97.00 shipped to my door. (easy fit variety) I'm now at 49+" in the rear. Another excellent investment. IMO. I don't do any drastic jumping. A few feet off the ground and 10' or so before I land. Good luck and happy riding. Yes the filter and jet kit helped, but I want more. I am going to get a full yoshimura exhaust soon. Thanks for the info on the tires, I am pretty sure that is my next investment I need to get the handling just a little better or the extra power I add won't help. My friends rims are all offset, front and rear, look really good too. He doesn't even need the spacers. Don't know how offset, but very noticable. What size rim you using with your 22" tires?? Thanks for the help

10x8 thats 10" tall 8" wide. They are not offset. Didn't know they made offset rear wheels when I bought these. Definatly spend the money on the .190 and or get beadlock wheels if you can. Mine are not beadlocks. Here are some pics of my bike. You can see the tires well and Ive recently added the wheel spacers.

I'm running Maxxis Razr's on mine. 20x11x9 6ply. They don't hook up quite as well in a straight line as the stock Dunlops, but they slide VERY easily. With the Razr's and my Lonestar +4 axle, it slides just as good or better than my stock Ohtsu equipped 400EX.
