Banshee pipes with stock silencers?
#2
Im not sure, If they do they *SHOULDNT* hurt anything if its jetted right, Lack of performance gain shouldnt be that noticable. Either way, for $50 i would buy them and at least sit on them until you can afford a set of silencers..

Thanks for the response. I am going to go check them out again tonight to make sure they aren't internally damaged. I looked at them from about 10ft away last night and they just looked a little scuffed up (they are chrome), but didn't notice any dents or anything.
Anything else I should look for?
Thanks.

The good thing about buying used pipes is that they are very easy to spot any damage.. Small dings and dents dont matter [if they do you dont notice] Cracks or holes are bad, but fixable if you invest a little time and money. Good way to check the pipes is plug one end and fill it with water, Plug the other pipe and carefully pour the water from the first pipe into the second one, if the difference in the amount of water is close, and none leaks out of either pipe then they are probably good. Just make sure you dry the pipes out, dont want any rust in there!

That's a great idea. Thanks a lot for the info.
I am going to go take another look at the pipes tonight. If they are decent I'm gonna offer the guy $40 for them. Wonder if he'll go for it.
Thanks.
