filter question

by adding a better flowing airfilter is there any noticable performance gains from this? and how bout if i remove the airbox or the lid? i know id have to rejet, bu then what do you do with the fuel filter? thanks

I don't think it would be a seat of the pants noticable
difference. But the powers that be do claim there are power
gains. You will probably gain about 1-2 hp more by going
to a better flowing air filter. But removing your air box
should not have any effect on the fuel filter!
