Ok...rear tires on rancher 4x4 are 24x9x11....front tires are 24x8x12...i think that is right....i want new tires (stock dunlops suck)..but i'm having trouble finding tires to fit that damn 11 inch rear rim....i want to get 24x10x11 rear and 24x9x12 front....589's...can you get them in that size?...would 25's be to heavy...are the 589's a heavy tire in general...what are some other good tires that may be lighter...approximate price?....i am interested in a more aggresive tire than stock, but not strictly for mudding.... decent riding tire that will get me through mud and bog when i get to it...thanks for any help you can throw at me.

You can get 589's in that size (a little wider, though). We tried to order some, but those off-size were back-ordered for another 3 weeks, so we got the 12-inch tires along with rims. We ordered the 25-inch tires, which turned out to be the exact height (at 5 psi) as the stock tires.

I agonized over tire choices for a long time. Then, I just got fed up and finally spent the money on ITP Magnum (12X7, light aluminum and real good looking!) rims and Blackwater tires for the 4X4. I put 26X8-12 in front and 26X12-12 in the rear. The biggest advantage besides the increased ground clearance, is that the bike is WIDER by quite a bit. Now it isn't the least bit tippy. The price you pay (besides the $$) is the loss of some low end because of the taller tires.

How do those bigger tires ride? are they much rougher riding than the stock tires? I have been thinking about the 25 inch titan xt's with the new c-series aluminum rims, has anyone else tried this combo? and if so how does it work, does anyone have any pic's they can share? It's allot of cash to part with to not be satisfied when you put them on.
