DS Days, Where should it be? Cast your vote!!!

Well it looks like Nevada has turned out to be some real A$$ faces!!! Thank you Knutz for giving it your all!! First, The way I see it and from the majority I have seen from the other thread, this event needs and should be, unofficial. So I say lets stick with that. Second, Should we stick with Sand MT. NV and just show up anyways? Some other places we should consider are Little Sahara(Sand Mt.)UT, or St. Anthony's in ID or Little Sahara OK. My personal votes are unofficial and 1. UT 2.ID 3.OK (I want to save OK for Snake Hunt)
I think this event can easily still happen and be huge, I mean huge, and tons of fun but a decision needs to be made and stuck with. I am volunteering to keep tabs and say we put a dead line on voteing to the end of this month(April). Then the place with the most votes will be the place. Sound Fair?
Just an idea!! I know there was a thread for Labor Day at Sand Mt. but thought I would throw this to the wind.

I can also see that this thread is gonna be where people will vote for the closest place to them. This is gonna make a major conflict and cause nothing but bitterness. I think just keeping it unofficial at sand mtn. would be the best way, especially since there is about 30people in the other thread that said they will go there. Sean

My vote is for Sand Mountain Utah, but I think I voiced that opinion earlier
Like 3TV said, you can unload and/or camp right at the base of Sand Mountain if you want to, complete with flush toilets (for the ladies). There are a couple of other very nice campgrounds in the Little Saharah park that would require a few mile ride or trailering the quads over if you stayed there, the benefits to these places are nice camping spots and it gets quiet there at night because there are noise rules. Sand mountain on the otherhand stays busy almost all night long with people partying and riding the hill.

I am looking foreward to DS Days, I think it will be a blast.
Glamis and Dumont will still be a little warm, Little Saharah and St. Anthony's are a long haul for the people in the west, so sand mountain would be the logical choice.
I think that DS days should be twice a year and each time it should alternate to different places so everyone can have a chance to attend and not have to drive for 2-3 days. Also an off weekend would be a plus, less crowd is safer.
That's my penny for the day.....

Well, of course my vote would be for Little Sahara Utah. Like dunejammer said, it offers a lot of different type of riding (not just hill shooting) and many camping areas.
I traveled all the way to dumont on pres weekend and it was fun, but they lack in camping areas and toilets.
Little sahara, you can actually camp in the trees, some kind of desert tree, but at least there is some shade. Anyway, I have never been to sand mountain nevada and have decided that unless I have a toy hauler rv by then I will not trek that far.
At dumont I was in a tent and if it had not been for Vegas and his friends, we would have really been miserable. So, that is my vote.

I've been excited about this get-together since it first appeared on the forum (3 pages of posts ago in the other topic). Down here in SoCal, we've got a lot of great riding areas, but (for me) this is a chance to see something new and different (NV, UT...wherever). I'm taking the time off, got permission from the "boss" and will follow to wherever the masses would like it to be. If it's Sand Mntn, NV, great, if it's all the way up to UT, great...I'll drive, I just want to see everyone else from the forum and hang out with a great bunch of folks. So I guess my vote is....4) Wherever.
Just my humble opinion, I could be mistaken ;-)

I will be at Sand Mtn. NV this year(already commited)for Labor Day.
But next year or a different date for DSDays is open for me,
Off course Sand Mtn NV is closer for me,but Sand Mtn. UT is OK too
Seeing everbody was willing to travel a little ,so am I.
So is Little Sahara UT and Sand Mtn. UT the same? What facilities are there?
What about the wash behind AZSAND's shop?
