Any recomondations for upgrading my Kodiak? If you had a little extra cash laying around that had to be spent on your 4x4 what would you do? Is it worth changing the filter, pipe and jetting and if so with what? Seems like alot of people do this and some always have problems later. I am installing Oxlite cv guards and plan on putting some OEM size Bear Claws on it soon. What else?

Go Fat on the back with the Bear claws... no problem with 12X12's... I have 26 9X12 on front and 26 12X12 on the back and they are the same height as the 25" dunlops that came on it... the only prob is the front tires rub the winch and the left A-arm when turning all the way to left, But the back are good to go. As far as any other extras go... a back seat is nice to carry freinds on, especially with the footpegs that bolt onto the fender guards. It's pricy but a nice feature. Especially with the back seats that have storage in the arm rests. Kimpex Bumpers are also a nice investment, you'll appreciate them.

Look at your plug after a full throttle run. If it is snow white like mine go up 2 sizes. Mine came with a 132.5. I went to 137.5, skipping the 135.5. $ 2.50 each. Nice help on top end.
I have the OEM size Bear Claws. The fronts are 1/4" if that much shorter than the front, but all are a little taller than OEM. It should not hurt the 4X4 system if you don't run 4X4 on pavement. Don't let the looks of them un-mounted throw you. When they get air alot changes.
Get a mountain bike speedo. Cateye.com. The Enduro2. Get the long cord. Order from phattire.com.
