85 250r honda 3 wheller ?

I was wondering if anyone knows if an 86 suzuki swingarm will fit in an 85 250r 3 wheller. I am working on alittle homemade project and was wondering if anyone had info that would help thanks.

I don't know if it will, but you would have to use the suzuki rear end parts also(carrier,axle,etc)and I don't know if it would line up with the drive sprocket. You would really want to look at that aspect before you adapted the front of the swingarm to the honda frame. You would also want to take a look at if the shock linkage for the suzuki swingarm is going to work with the frame and the shock of the 250R and that it would allow you to retain the airbox if the shock has to go at a different angle than the honda setup. Sounds like a nightmare.

I have a good 85 250R swingarm for $50-I'll install new swingarm bearings with the HONDA tool that is made just for that task for another $20
