I am knew to this web site and have just purchased a 2000 Grizzly.I have just ordered some blackwater XT's and a Highlifter lift kit for it.Has anyone here put a lift kit on their Grizz and has it caused any problems? The reason I asked I called a mailorder place and they said they do not carry the kits anymore do to this issue(wear and stress on drive components).Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know much about the lift kits but had heard that some companies discontinued the Lockers for the Grizzly for that very reason. And the fact that it made the machine a real pain to steer. However, highlifter.com re-designed it and are planning to offer something new again very soon.

Let me know how you like your Grizzly. I am about to buy one too in a few weeks.

So far I have had my machine for 2 weeks(I like it alot). All I have had a chance to do with it is plow snow and it does a great job pushing it with no problems. As soon as I get the tires and lift kit on and spring weather hits here I defintely will give it a work out.I know a few guys that own a grizz and have not had any problems with overheating, but hey each to there own there are a lot of nice machines out there, but I don't think you would go wrong with a Grizzly.Good Luck!!!!!!!
