do i need to rejet my carb. after installing k&n airfilter and T-4?

well i have been trying to find a solution to this i read a couple one said that you dont have to...all you have to do is run the crap out of in every gear...but if it back fires than you might have to rejet. im not sure if i should rejet or not. give me some good feed back. i appreciate it
