turbocharger?

yeah, i was hearing a little about a turbocharger today. i was wondering what exactly do they do? all he said is it makes it go faster but i dont know

more air to the engine which increases its speed.If you want more specifics just say so.

It takes the exhaust from the motor and turns it into pressurized air by changing the inlet size ( kinda like putting your finger over the end of a hose) The presssurized air then turns a propeller which operates a compresser. The air is then rammed into the engines. More air= more power.

yeah, do you know the price ranges for these? if it saves gas or burns more? and can you get it on a 300ex? all i know is you can get it on a 400ex and raptor (or craptor, if you dont like them).

3000 dollars and there is none for the 300ex yet.

well it is actually $3900 (U.S. dollars) and $4400 with the inter cooler which is highly recomended unless you want to melt your motor down.

You would be much better served by getting a new machine that is light and makes lots of stock power. Like a Cannondale,Raptor,whatever.
