Also, how much would it help to purchase one, rejet the carb, and maybe buy a K&N air filter?
Wold it be worth the 200+ dollars?

i think so but the monting bracket is in the wrong spot. if i were you i'd look into the fmf megamax2. they make it for the wolv. you wont be disapointed.it has exelant power gain.k&N filters are good bit id look in to a foam they are better in moist and wet areas. the kn are better in sand and dry climated

I've got an 96 wolverine that I put an Cobra steel pipe on (79.95) and an uni foam filter (14.00) and then rejetted the carb (jets run 2.95 each) and I love it. It really upped the mid and high end power. plus it seems to have boosted the torque. All of this for $96.90! I don't want to take anything away from any brands power kits or pipes but I really can't see spending $200.00 plus and just getting an pipe. Let me know, I may be completly wrong.
